Viewpoints Paper

Here's the outline for the drama 2 Viewpoints paper.

Viewpoints Reflections

Now that you have completed the “Viewpoints” process it is important to reflect on what you have learned. In a formal essay please reflect on the following ideas:

· Early exercise process (working as a group, soft focus, etc.)

· Individual Viewpoints and what they meant/how they worked.

o Tempo

o Duration

o Repetition

o Kinesthetic Response

o Spatial Relationship

o Shape

o Gesture

o Topography

o Architecture

· Music (how does it enhance the process)

· Final Performance Scene

Some suggestions:

· Which of the viewpoints are the most effective for you?

· How would you use them in practical application?

· How has this process or the individual viewpoints enhanced you as a performer?

· How did applying the viewpoints help in creating your final scene?

In one of your final paragraphs discuss how this strategy of using Viewpoints will help you in the acting/directing process of any performance. Please be specific and give examples!
